PD Cagliastro’s couture hand knit one of a kind dresses, gowns and accessories sell in Madison Avenue Boutiques in New York. They range in price from $325 to $4000. She is launching a couture coat line for Fall/Winter 07/08. Her work has been televised in shows such as Rockstar Super Nova, a television show featuring Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro.
PUBLICATIONS PD Cagliastro’s work is regularly seen in Soho Publishing’s Knit 1!, and will soon be seen this year in three separate titles of the “Knitting On The Go Book Series”; “Crochet Baby Blankets”, “Knit Gifts” and “Crochet Shawls”, and in Soho Publishing’s “Knit It Your Way” featuring three projects by PD. Her Soft Sculpture animals will be published in The Anticraft Book in 2007, and a unique pair of socks will be published this year in Anova Books “Socks and Mitts” coming out in the UK. Her work has been covered in McCalls, Village Voice, New York Times, Slope Reader, and other national and local publications. She owned and originated The Knitting Salon, a knitting store/school and coffee bar, opened in 1999 in Park Slope Brooklyn. Being the “first of its kind” The Knitting Salon received the Village Voice “BEST IN NEW YORK” Knitting Store in 2001.
OTHER RECENT PRESS Her work has been recently seen this December 06 on the Today Show, featuring her holiday focused pieces. PD Cagliastro will be showing her line of couture dresses in September 2007 New York Fashion week, and has a boutique opening in Manhattan later this year.
RETAIL Custom and Couture gowns, dresses, single pieces and accessories are available by through private appointment, and in April it will be available on her own website. Keep in mind that pieces go quickly, so contact us to get yours.

PD Cagliastro lives in Manhattan’s Financial District with her fantastic 7 year old daughter Mahgdalen, her delightful British Husband David, and her large black hybrid bird, the craven Zaedoc.
